SHORT SYNOPSIS
In a politically volatile Rome, the celebrated opera singer Floria Tosca is plunged into a nightmare when her lover, the painter Cavaradossi, is arrested for harbouring a political prisoner. The corrupt Chief of Police, Scarpia, forces Tosca to make a terrible choice to save her lover’s life, leading to a dark tale of murder, betrayal, and ultimate tragedy.
